At Kippure Estate in Wicklow, we understand that there are some subjects that clearly benefit from hands on experience outside the classroom. That’s why we’ve carefully put together a wide range of themed school tours designed to complement curriculum, so that your students can fully appreciate everything you’ve been talking about. Seeing in practice the lessons you’ve been teaching them will make a massive difference to their studies.

Whatever your pupils’ ages, we have a programme to suit their needs. We can provide everything from primary school tours right up to field studies in geography and ecology for the Leaving Cert. Whatever the age and stage of your class, we’ll make sure they get the most out of their day.

Ecology Investigations

All of our programmes have been designed to cover a broad spectrum of skills and topics to make sure that students engage with the material and get the most out of the day. If you have a specific idea or lesson plan you’d like us to work with, we’re always happy to put together a bespoke programme designed to meet your needs. We’ll provide all the necessary worksheets and field equipment, so all you and your class need to do is arrive – we’ve got the rest covered.

As well as catering to pupils we also regularly host staff days out and team building days. We have a wide range of fun and enjoyable team building exercises available, all designed to promote better communication, good morale and improved performance.

Our education team come from a teaching background and understand the protocol involved with taking children out of school. Our insurance covers all participants in all the activities that we offer, and our risk assessments can be shared with the group leader ahead of your trip. What’s more, here at Kippure Estate we care, and we will do everything we can to give you the best experience possible; we will really look after you and your group.
