Get the party started with some of our favourite hen party activities!

The hen night can be one of the best parts of a wedding, a fun-filled night you’ll never forget. However, if you’ve been tasked with organising a hen do, you might be looking for a little inspiration.

We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite hen party games, guaranteed to make sure everyone has a blast.

Make me a man

Get the other hens’ partners and the groom-to-be to supply you with photos of random body parts, the sillier the better. Mix them all up and give them to the bride to see if she can identify and rebuild her fiancé from the pictures. For every one she gets wrong, she’ll have to do a forfeit!

Did you notice?

Before the bride arrives, give all the guests a phrase or saying they have to work into conversation with the bride at some point during the party without her realising. Make it as wacky as you like – “I just saw a penguin” or “I love the taste of my tears.”

If you use your phrase and five minutes go by without the bride spotting anything wrong, she has to drink. If she guesses that something’s up, you have to drink.

Hint: this game’s easier if you’re one of the first to use your phrase!

I have never

This drinking game doesn’t just break the ice – it smashes it! Everyone takes a turn to reveal something about themselves, starting with “I have never…” It could be as simple as “I have never had ice cream” right through to X rated experiences. If the other people in the group have done the activity, they have to drink. If nobody else has done it either, the person making the statement has to drink.

Don’t drop the balloon

You might remember this one from when kids’ party games, but this comes with a twist. Write down 20 embarrassing questions on pieces of paper and put them in 20 balloons before inflating them. Then divide your hens into two teams. Each team has to transport 10 balloons from one side of the room to the other just with their knees – no cheating! If you drop or pop a balloon, the game stops and the person who dropped it has to answer the question before continuing.

The first team to get all their balloons to the other side (minus any popped ones) is the winner. Losers have to pop the rest of their balloons and nominate different team members to answer the remaining questions.

Person most likely to…

Make sure you have plenty of alcohol ready for this one! Everyone sits in a circle and takes turn to ask a question beginning with “Who’s the person most likely to…” Party all night with Lindsay Lohan? Get arrested for indecent exposure?

Whatever the question, on the count of three, everyone has to point to the person they think is most likely to commit the act. Take a sip (or gulp) of your drink for every person pointing to you, so if five people are pointing at you, you have to have five sips. However, if there’s a unanimous agreement, the person “most likely” doesn’t drink – everyone else takes a shot instead.
